Scottish Botanical Amulet - Ivy Spirit with Black Onyx & Dendritic Agate

Part of the Scottish Botanical Amulet collection, this one-of-a-kind piece was created using a real ivy leaf gathered in Scotland and preserved through the process of copper electroforming. Every vein and curve of the leaf has been permanently captured in copper, transforming a fleeting piece of nature into a lasting talisman. The pendant is paired with Black Onyx and Dendritic Agate beads, accented by brass beads and suspended from an adjustable cord, allowing it to be worn at a variety of lengths.

Handcrafted in my small studio in rural Scotland, this piece celebrates the enduring symbolism of ivy, a plant that has inspired folklore, poetry, and spiritual traditions for centuries.

When creating this piece, I wanted it to represent the quiet wisdom of growth. Ivy teaches us how to remain connected while continuing to reach forward. Black Onyx offers the symbolic strength to stay rooted when life feels uncertain, while Dendritic Agate reflects the intricate patterns of nature, reminding us that growth often follows unseen paths before revealing its beauty. Symbolism of Ivy
