Aquatine Lemurian Calcite is a trade name, for a blue banded variety of Calcite that is mined in Argentina. It is often described as Aquatine Calcite or Blue Onyx. It is found in a variety of different blue shades, and very often also has brown banding. The colour indicates the quality, and usually deeper blue colour makes them more desirable.
